the winwing obviously has a surprisingly good dampening ... but there is also one more pro to mention for the thrustmaster: the twist axis. some might use it for rudders if no pedals available, but if you have pedals, the twist grip comes in super handy as a tiller axis.

At these prices, we can afford to have both and switch between flying Boieng and Airbus. Again, well done WinWing.

It's about time we had someone do this in the flightsim industry. Too many companies have either taken advantage or are too stupid to realise they could make larger profits on volume rather than huge mark up per item. MSFS opened the doors for huge opportunities selling flight sim products to the masses, but no one else was smart enough to respond. . 1:1 scale Throttles for Airbus and Boieng will no doubt be on the way. FYI: at 1:39:54 you referred to a narrowbody 727-200 as a tri-star L1011. The L1011 is a wide body aircraft and there is quite a difference between the two.

I did not know that the FBW 320 has this functionality built in. I will be trying it tonight!

Landing was solid, almost how you gotta land this bird is just fly it down. Smooth landings don't exist with the MD-11 lol

To me, the WinWing Joystick feels sturdier and has a better overall feel. My Thrustmaster joystick is made of plastic that feels cheap, whereas the plastic used in the WinWing joystick appears to be of higher quality and doesn't feel cheap. Overall, it's a great product and a great review!

Have the Thrustmaster Airbus system but because of the throttle unit cheapness there is no resistance in the throttle and is deemed useless worst thrustmaster product I bought. Joystick and Spoiler / flaps is fine but the throttle sticks are a joke

wow man that was some flight, i watched during my breakfast, the landing was something else. 5 stars out of 5 for that one. you Coco buttered that landing. also yes help from others about the profile on take off and landing is a little flatter (more horizontal) so i guess like landing a taildragger where you will glide it in more and be flatter is the right way. my type of aircraft but i will get the 727 first. thanks for the wonderful stream. the sim is looking spectacular.

Seeing as how I own the Saitek X56 Rhino that is cheaper than this, and I had the Ace Combat 6 Flight Stick from Hori on Xbox 360 I can tell you that anything by Hori that is over $200 is not worth it. That flight stick for Ace Combat was absolute trash.

Yeah, I got my Winwing hotas for not much more than than that with a lot better construction and materials. They missed the mark on the price. I do like the inclusion of the mounting brackets though.

Kind of reminds me of the x56 and given the options out there I think they have missed the mark with the price, I'd pay maybe 200-250 at most if I'm being honest

Glad that somewhat affordable ffb finally finally arrives in the world of flight sims. But it's wild that they used such a flimsy mount for the base.

Was the stick metal or plastic?

In all the reviews they never peel off the pads they just mention it try but no complete.

That is normal to feel the Thrustmaster bouncing more (spring effect) since the travel is longer. For the test you did, you should move less the TCA axes. Anyway, good comparison.

Hi !! just a question .. there is any chanche to avoid the waiting time to load pax, weight and fuel ?? Or y have to go through the purser & ground everytime ?

Doesn't seem like it's night and day difference or a reason enough to toss my thrustmaster to the side, especially when I may only hand fly the Airbus for all of 10 minutes, if that. Thanks for the video anyhow.

That landing was really nice for the size of the aircraft and i think only your 4th landing, very smooth and impressive. your sim is looking so good now, glad you got the upgrades to make XP72 streams one of the best on utube

Updated apps to support vibration motors in MSFS. Does it work well with MSFS? If it does, does it vibrate when running down the runway during takeoff and landing? Or is it just a brief vibration on landing touchdown and that's it?
